Storm over Cerro Pedernal

"Storm over Cerro Pedernal" (600)

"During Monsoon season in New Mexico, it is not uncommon to feel a sudden change in the wind and
see a darkening sky to the west.  The rain clouds form quickly, drop their needed moisture, and
̶  just as quickly    ̶  are gone.  The sky then returns to its usual clear, unmistakably "New Mexico" blue.
Truly a phenomenon for those of us who are used to Ohio rainstorms!"
